Local model context planning and backed-up catalog updates
What it does
Inspect local model catalogs and aliases, draft context-window settings and optionally save updates after backups. This changes local metadata and cannot increase a remote model or service context limit.

Maturity and limits
Script exposes listing, alias resolution and preview behavior; no test suite found. Phase 2: source paths and implementation inspected statically; tests and external integrations were not executed. Maturity rates repository implementation, not a verified production deployment.
Local catalog formats can change. Increasing declared context does not expand actual provider capacity and can cause oversize requests; plan/apply and independent compaction settings must remain explicit.
